E-mail Print

Cake Batter Cookie RecipeWhen you need to make cookies and all you have is a box of cake mix, we have what you need.  Read on for a quick, easy to make cookie recipe that can be used with any normal cake mix in a box.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Cake Mix (~19 oz package)
  • 1/3 Cup Oil
  • 2 Eggs

Directions

Heat oven to 375°.

In a large bowl, combine cake mix, oil, and eggs.  Stir with spoon until well blended.

Shape dough into 1-inch balls, and place 2 inches apart on un-greased cookie sheets.  Using the bottom of a glass that has been dipped in flour (to prevent sticking), flatten cookies until they're about 1/4-inch thick.

Place in oven and bake at 375° for 6 to 8 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.  Cool for about a minute before removing from the cookie sheets.

Tips

You can have your kids decorate these cookies with frosting and sprinkles.

Try adding chocolate chips, Reese's pieces, or anything else to add complementary flavors to the cake mix.
